So, I wrote an ebook. Big deal, you said. Any idiot can do that. What about a real book? A paper book?
Well, hold on to your wood-pulp-centric hats, because now I’ve published it in paperback too.
As of today, The Yoga Sutras is available as a paperback, priced at a very reasonable $7.24 from Amazon.com or £6.34 from Amazon.co.uk. That’s absolutely as cheap as I can make it. The Kindle version costs less and harms no trees, but hey, you can’t put it on your bookshelf.
Personally I still prefer paper books. I’ve started buying Kindle books too, because I can read them on my [portable electronic device] and because they’re cheaper. But I do prefer paper books. It’s probably just my age.
Anyway, whichever format you choose, I hope you’ll enjoy reading The Yoga Sutras. It’ll make you laugh! It’ll make you cry! It’ll make you say, OMG I can’t believe I just read that!
Congrats. I promise to buy one, and am looking forward to reading it.
Fondly,
Elizabeth
Thank you, Elizabeth!
Congrats!
Thank you!
This is so exciting! How did it feel holding a book you had written in your hands?
Hugely exciting! What is really exciting is the idea that people will finally read my thoughts and the story that I spent such a long time telling to myself. My characters cannot wait to meet you 🙂
Congratulations!
woo hoo! congratulations! I love paper 🙂
Paper is the best. Congrats on fulfilling a dream and pushing through a really big project; book-writing is formidable stuff, and I am impressed. Cheers to you!
Thanks to everyone for the congratulations! Now is the moment of truth!
Congratulations, Steve! Someday, I hope to make the same announcement concerning something I have written–other than my short stories. A book…a real book. Wow!
Stay focussed and I’m sure that you will. Thanks!
Congratulations! That’s so wonderful! You’re leading the pack for the rest of still working on our first drafts 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration!
Renata
Thanks, although I’m hardly a pack leader!
